If we say we'll do something, we do it. Our promises don't expire when they become inconvenient. If we ran a "lifetime guarantee" campaign, 200 years from now, we'd still honour it.

We hire the person, not just the role. We want people to build great lives here: to start families, find purpose in their work and be treated with respect. Bring your full self to work. If you disagree with us, say so. Good people should be able to speak plainly and still trust one another.
Honesty, even when it hurts
We tell the truth to each other and to our customers, especially when it's uncomfortable. We don't look for ways to take advantage of people. We want customers to get a great deal because it's the right thing to do, not because it's good marketing. We do the honest thing even when nobody is watching.
Bias for action
We ship, learn and improve. A plan only matters if it becomes action. When the path is unclear, take the next sensible step. We'd rather move, learn and course-correct than stand still waiting for certainty.
Live off the land
Start with what you have. Don't wait for more budget, more resources or perfect conditions before solving the problem in front of you. Think for yourself, be resourceful and find a way.
Don't ask permission
You have ownership. Own the outcome, not just the task. If something needs doing and it's within your power to fix it, fix it. Use your judgement. We hired you because we trust you to act.
Outwork everyone
We cultivate discipline. We hate procrastination and meetings that exist for their own sake. We come in at 8am ready to work. We move quickly, stay focused and measure ourselves by what we get done.
Practice perseverance
If we knock on 100 doors and nobody answers, we dust ourselves off and knock on door 101. We set hard goals, expect setbacks and keep going until the job is done.
Aim for the impossible
We set goals that look unrealistic, then work out how to make them real. Small ambitions produce small outcomes. We'd rather aim at something extraordinary and stretch ourselves than settle for what is easy or obvious.
