Cookie Policy
Last updated 17 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Letted Ltd ("Letted", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the Letted platform.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites and software platforms work efficiently, improve user experience, and provide information to website operators.
Cookies may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period or until deleted.
2. How We Use Cookies
Letted uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Enable core functionality of the website and platform
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions
- Remember user preferences and settings
- Monitor platform performance and reliability
- Analyse usage to improve features and usability
We do not use cookies to make decisions about properties, tenants, or tenancy matters.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of the website and platform. They enable features such as:
- Secure login and account access
- Session management
- Fraud prevention and security
Without these cookies, parts of the platform may not function correctly.
3.2 Functional Cookies
Functional cookies allow the platform to remember choices you make, such as:
- Language or region preferences
- Interface settings
- Previously selected options
These cookies improve usability but are not essential for core functionality.
3.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies
With analytics consent, PostHog and Vercel Analytics help us understand how visitors use this website, including:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Feature usage patterns
- Error rates and performance metrics
PostHog can also record browsing sessions, including page interactions, to help us understand usability problems. Analytics data is not necessarily anonymous. PostHog uses cookies and local storage (including ph_ entries) to recognise browsers; Vercel Analytics measures website traffic without analytics cookies.
PostHog requests travel through our website to PostHog’s EU service. This does not change who processes the data or your consent choices.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We may allow trusted third-party service providers to place cookies on our website or platform for analytics, performance monitoring, or security purposes.
These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
With marketing consent, we load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Its _fbp and _fbc cookies help recognise browsers and attribute visits and sign-ups to advertising campaigns. These cookies may be shared across Letted subdomains. Meta receives data about page visits and advertising interactions.
With marketing consent, we also load the OpenAI Measurement Pixel to measure visits and completed landlord registrations from ChatGPT ads. It uses __oppref (up to 30 days) for ad-click attribution and __obref (up to 365 days) for browser recognition. These cookies can be shared across Letted subdomains. On completed signup, we may send a SHA-256 hash of your normalized email address for conversion matching; we do not send the raw email address through this integration. Events opt out of future user-level personalization.
5. Cookie Consent and Control
On this website, optional analytics and marketing are off until you accept the relevant category. Choose Accept all, Reject optional, or Manage preferences in the cookie banner.
We remember your choices in the necessary, host-only letted_cookie_consent cookie for six months. Missing or expired choices mean optional tracking stays off until you choose again.
The necessary letted_ads_consent cookie shares only your marketing choice and its expiry with app.letted.com, so that choice is respected during signup. It expires with your website preferences, within six months. Analytics preferences remain host-only.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant tracking, removes its browser storage accessible to this website, and reloads the page so previously loaded scripts cannot continue. It also updates the shared marketing choice used by the signup app's OpenAI conversion tracking. This does not delete data already received by providers or change other preferences on Letted applications.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using this website.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or how we use cookies.
Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
